How we Started

For over twenty years, Drew DeMay of Fountain Bleu, built and designed water features, landscaping and hardscaping.  Often he was asked to go through the painstaking process of draining and cleaning clients water features.  He’d throw on his waders, catch the fish and put them in a wading pool and power wash the rocks and liner.  This standard procedure of cleaning and maintaining these features can be hard on the fish, and sometimes resulted in their unfortunate demise.  Drew knew there had to be a better and easier way to carry out this dreaded task.

He went searching for a pond vacuum that would clean and recirculate the pond water and he wanted one that was built to last and not disposable. Drew came up with a lot of pond vacuums that were basically expensive wet/dry vacs. That’s when he invented the innovative, fast and efficient machine known as the Water-Vac Solids Separation System.
